【乐评】有史以来最伟大的500张专辑500 Greatest Albums of All Time

(如题,这是个翻译系列。

为了锻炼自己英文翻译的水平,所以想找一些自己本身就感兴趣的内容来翻。正好这个系列很合适,顺便推歌的同时也涨涨我自己的见识。但这个翻译只是大概,而且我英文水平不太好所以……不过我会贴上乐评原文,方便纠错。)

   

滚石杂志确认的这个500佳专辑排行榜,是西方流行音乐主流商业乐评,关于专辑的最权威的榜单,可以说是超越格莱美的那种。当然,这个榜单和世界上所有的榜单一样存在“争议”,但这不影响它的公信力。为什么?因为这个榜是民主投票产生的结果。

和很多其他杂志(例如NME)的榜单不同,滚石杂志500佳并不是那种杂志内部评选出来的榜单。这是很多人误解的一点——许多乐迷一看到自己认为伟大的专辑排名不如预期时就说滚石杂志这样主流杂志的记者不喜欢XX……真是冤枉好吗,这投票又不是滚石记者说了算。这是业内从业人士共同投出来的,当然是抽样调查样本也非常合适。这也是它公信力强的原因嘛。杂志内部搞出来的投票谁理你呢?即使是滚石的记者也不会有这种特殊待遇。
